I just read Peaks and Valleys and loved it! My husband's friend gave my husband this book as a Christmas gift and mailed it from California all the way to our home here in Georgia. His friend said that my husband would say when they were in college that it's all peaks and valleys and his friend found himself using that saying 20+ years later so that's why he bought the book for the title for him. At first I asked my husband once reading the jacket to see what the book was about was there something going on in his life or our life that I didn't know about that his friend needed to send him this book. He said no and then later called his friend to say Thanks for the book and then found out his friend's purpose for the book due to what he use to say in college. I sat here on Christmas day and could not put this book down. I was just having this conversation with my husband last night about how I felt like my life was always me not progressing in my life and that I would love for him to sit back and see me shine for a change. I always support his growth and I'm seeing him shine bright in his career and in his life but I never can seem to have it for myself and low and behold the next day opening gifts here is this book. The Universe sent this book into my husbands life for me to read. To get out of my own way to live the life I want and talk about all the time and that I always wish for and but never follow through on. So Thank you for this book and I did Thank his friend after page 80 for this book he sent and I "Thank" the Universe for sending me this signal so loud and clear!

After reading this book, i got the opportunity to see the life (personal & professional) in a different & positive way. I was feeling uncomfortable & feeling fear at workplace, but this book has shown me the path, "If i want to be at the peak & stay at the peak for a long, i have to develop myself". I have joined another professional course to have a more better career in the long run (in the next 5-10 years) along with my present job. Now, i am more focused and can see the whole world instead of competing & comparing myself unnecessarily with few people around. Thanks !
