Losing my job
I worked for the state ( as a non-permanent) employee the last two years. I represented the agency in appeal hearings, for fraud and won cases. I had never had a performance evaluation since my boss said he loved my work. I created the funding for my job, interviewed for my job and had my boss give this position to another person. He said that he liked her better and could I train her. No thanks was my reply.
I was devastated about losing my job- single parent etc. Then I started thinking about where was it I really wanted to live, and started focusing my job hunt in that area- thinking of this as my next great adventure...
